John Powell has played the guitar since he was 9 years old and has won many awards playing instruments, including Guitar and Dobro.
 

Lynn Powell has been singing in church since she was 12 years old.  Lynn has been playing the Upright Bass since 1997 and has won awards on the Bass and with her vocals.

John Goodson has played in local bluegrass and bluegrass gospel bands.  John was influenced by many Statesville & Salisbury musicians.  John now enjoys playing his '89 Gibson Granada.

Jimmy Shoemaker has been playing fiddle for 27 years.  He started playing fiddle when his Dad got his Grandpa's fiddle and told Jim and his brother that the first one to learn a tune on it could have it.  He now plays a five string fiddle made by Tom Barr in Virginia.  Jimmy has played with the Gospel Strings of Salisbury, also known as The Harvestmen.
